Research on the control of the settlement of buildings by automatic groundwater recharge device

A method of settlement control by recharging underground water with an automatic device is proposed in this paper, The on-site monitoring data shows that by recharging groundwater into the foundation, the groundwater level can gradually rise, and the settlement of the building induced by water pumping reduces when the underground water level rise. And the test result demonstrates that the automatic device for pumping and recharging designed in this paper can work as designed.
