ABSTRACT
The development of the expressway plays a very important role in regional economic development. In this paper, comprehensive evaluation indicators of expressway development are constructed from the perspectives of investment, infrastructure construction, transportation capacity, economy and safety. Based on the relevant data on the expressway in Hebei Province from 2010 to 2019, DEA-BCC and the grey correlation model are applied. The comprehensive development of the expressway in Hebei province is evaluated and analyzed, and the key indicators affecting the development of the expressway are further explored. The results show that the overall development of the expressway in Hebei province is rapid, and there is a strong correlation between fixed assets investment, gross regional product, and high-speed development.
