ABSTRACT

As the internal components of the transport infrastructure system and the external associated infrastructure system are more correlated to the intelligent network architecture, the transport infrastructure system is more vulnerable to cascading failures under emergencies, and its vulnerability is different from that of the traditional transport infrastructure system. There is little existing research, and new systematic vulnerability assessment methods are lacking. This paper uses the pressure-state-response model to put forward the vulnerability evaluation index system framework of transportation infrastructure systems under intelligent network architecture. Compared with traditional vulnerability assessment methods, this model classifies correlation indicators, considering the interaction and influence on “objecting” and “environment,” which has the advantages of systematization, operability, and accessibility. This paper puts forward the framework of the transportation infrastructure vulnerability assessment index system under the intelligent network architecture, comprehensively considering the impact of internal and external cascading failures and system correlation indicators on system vulnerability, which has certain enlightening significance for subsequent transportation infrastructure vulnerability assessment studies under the intelligent network architecture.
