ABSTRACT

In order to study the coupling and coordination law of the two major systems of transportation and social economy in the southwestern ethnic area, this paper uses the data of Aba Prefecture from 2009 to 2017 as an example to construct two system index systems, establish a coupling coordination degree model, and calculate the corresponding coordination degree index. Quantitatively measure the degree of coupling and coordination between systems. During the study period, the degree of coupling between transportation and social economy in Aba Prefecture is relatively high, while the degree of coordination fluctuates. The results of the study indicate that Aba Prefecture is a region with lagging traffic, and investment in transportation should be increased in the future.
