ABSTRACT

Urban microclimate research focuses on thermal comfort and microclimate effect, while empirical research on microclimate design considering summer and winter is limited. Taking the Kuiyuan community in Xuzhou as an example, ENVI-met was used to analyze the microclimate elements (air temperature, wind speed and humidity) and the characteristics of human thermal comfort PMV. Based on this, the utilization value of the site was judged, and the means of landscape renewal was proposed. Finally, the microclimate changes before and after landscape renewal were compared. It was found that the microclimate elements and thermal comfort were improved to varying degrees, which verified the feasibility and practical value of the landscape renewal strategy. This research provides a way to guide landscape design strategies through intuitive simulation data analysis.
