ABSTRACT

With the growth of smart Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI), and the fast-moving population acceptance of medical-grade wearables, the connection between technology and healthcare has shifted drastically in the last several years. AI-powered IoT empowered changes that are harmful and created interesting openings for healthcare companies through customized services, tailored substances, increased availability and accessible and cost-effective conveyance. In addition to these circumstances in the transformation from clinical to client-centred medical care, there are also many issues that need to be resolved. The bigger challenge to unlocking and activating this prospect adopted a shift to centralized and decentralized architectures. This provides a high rate of standard for the core characteristics, such as delay, accessibility and analytics in real time. IoT in healthcare has changed a lot over the years. IoT applications have created new healthcare solutions in the real world to deliver special care to patients. With the advancement in IoT, patients can monitor their health, and physicians and hospitals can provide quality care to the patients. IoT is useful not only for patients but also for normal people to check their health status by monitoring their health stats using wearables. This chapter focuses on how IoT can help the healthcare industry using machine learning techniques.
