ABSTRACT

A method was established for simultaneous determination of 13 bisphenol compounds in plastic food contact materials by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The optimal conditions of gas chromatography and mass spectrometry were investigated by evaluating the main factors affecting the separation effect. Finally, the rapid and effective separation of 13 bisphenol compounds was achieved within 10 min. The results showed that the limits of detection were 0.01-0.05 mg/kg, the average recoveries ranged from 81.3% to 115.5%, and the precision was in the range of 1.3%-6.7%. The method had high sensitivity and accuracy, which was suitable for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of bisphenol compounds in plastic food contact materials.
