ABSTRACT

In this paper, a simplified calculation model of the underground workshop pipeline system has been established to study the seismic reliability of the pipeline system in the underground powerhouse of Baihetan Hydropower Station. The structural dimensions and material properties of the pipeline and bracket pillar are treated as random variables with a Gaussian distribution. A pipeline sampling method is used to analyze the pipeline system. The seismic reliability of the pipeline system under actual conditions has been proven. Sensitivity analysis shows that the material density and elastic modulus of the pipeline are the most important factors affecting the seismic reliability of the pipeline system. This study provides theoretical support for seismic reliability and structural optimization for similar pipeline systems.
