ABSTRACT

In this paper, the chemical composition, particle size distribution, morphology analysis, fluidity ratio and activity index of different limestone powders were tested, the effect of different quality limestone powder on the properties of polycarboxylate superplasticizer and concrete was studied. The results show that the adaptability of different limestone powder to polycarboxylic acid water reducer is different because of their different physical properties, and the higher the content of fine particles of limestone powder, the better the adaptability and the lower the sensitivity of limestone powder to polycarboxylic acid water reducer, the better the workability of the concrete, the higher the 3d, 7d and 28d strength of the concrete.
