ABSTRACT

Our group is paying attention to use the deployable structure to solve the problem of building a bridge rapidly. As a new structure, the deployable structure has plenty of advantages that traditional structure does not have, such as high utility rate of space and being produced forward in the factory. We are trying to use CAD and MATLAB to show the deployable structure sample and use the quantitative calculation to show the feasibility of this kind of structure. Also, we have shown the possible uses for this structure, especially in the disaster area supporting. At the end of the paper, we concluded our result at this stage, show the problem we now have, and put forward our vision of the future in this research.
