ABSTRACT
Bihu Plain, located in Bihu Town, Liandu District, has the oldest large-scale water conservancy project in Zhejiang Province. In recent years, the local tourism economy has developed rapidly, leading to increase in regional water use. Therefore, it is particularly important to attract Yuxi Reservoir water to supplement through Tongji Weir. This paper analyzes the demonstration of water resources in Bihu Plain, studies the necessity and rationality of water diversion (JI 2014), and concludes that the construction of Yuxi Reservoir diversion project can make the annual guarantee rate of water supply in Bihu Town reach more than 95%, and improve the daily guarantee rate of ecological environment water supply to more than 95%.
