ABSTRACT

The safety evaluation of cascade dams system is of great significance to ensure operation of cascade dams and the safety of surrounding areas. To improve the accuracy of safety evaluation, aiming at the characteristics of complex relationships, large scale and uncertain evaluation of cascade dams system, the safety evaluation index system of cascade dams system is established by using fuzzy theory and extension analytic hierarchy process (EAHP), combined with the engineering safety of dams. The extension interval judgment matrix is established by expert scoring, and the weights of factors at all levels are determined. The fuzzy membership function is used to fuzzify the expert scoring, and the final safety evaluation results are obtained by comprehensive calculation. The safety evaluation of engineering examples verifies the scientific authenticity and accuracy of the application of fuzzy extension analytic hierarchy process in the evaluation of cascade dams.
