ABSTRACT

Surface wettability is divided into two groups: superhydrophobic/super oleophobic and super hydrophilic/super oleophilic. Bioinspired artificial superhydrophobic has gained significant research attention due to the large uses of these surfaces in a wide range of applications, such as in the field of self-cleaning, anti-corrosion, oil-water separation, drag reduction, anti-fouling, anti-icing, anti-fogging, anti-fouling, waterproof coating. Nanocomposite materials have been widely studied for the last few decades as they provide major improvements in properties, including at low levels of nanoparticles. Polymer nanocomposites are widely used in various applications, such as automotive structural parts, food, and cosmetic packaging, biomedical applications, solar energy, especially organic photovoltaics, fabrication of smart materials, etc. Electrospinning is a cost-effective and novel technique widely used by many researchers to fabricate electrospun fibers for various applications such as tissue engineering, chemical sensors, drug delivery, sensors, textile applications, cosmetics, medical applications, to fabricate self-cleaning surfaces.
