ABSTRACT

In this chapter, we will present the different stages of denoising based on a real ECG and a development in Matlab of the techniques proposed after its reception and before sending it to the doctor. The treatments are carried out on the complete ECG; however, for the sake of readability, only extracts of the ECG relevant to the phenomenon illustrated will be presented. As a result, the available ECG signals are generally contaminated by random noises, and it is in this context that our contribution will intervene to minimize the influence of these noises on the ECG signals. So, in this work, and as a denoising technique, we have chosen to use many techniques to remove noise from the ECG signal. The results of the simulation are presented and then commented on. The work introduces the types of common noise sources in ECG signals and simple signal processing techniques for removing them.
