ABSTRACT

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is a category of software used to build software robots that are used to automate processes. More broadly, RPA is defined as a construct that encompasses the process, content, and outcome of organizational change, the core of which is the automation of business processes using software robots. It is important that RPA is implemented in a way that is compatible with the concept of a sustainable enterprise and, in particular, sustainable human resource management.

Therefore, the objectives of this chapter include: identify links between RPA and sustainable human resource management; (G2) develop recommendations for managers responsible for implementing the RPA tools that will allow more effective implementation of robotic process automation in the context of sustainable human resource management.

In order to achieve the research objectives defined at the beginning of the chapter, the author conducted semi-structured expert interviews. This chapter presents the results obtained, while the study concludes with a summary, limitations of the research methodology used, and directions for future research.
