ABSTRACT

In the present work, the cross-linked starch was studied as a base material, the Ce4+ was selected as initiator of graft copolymerization, and acrylamide was grafted to prepare an environmentally-friendly polymeric flocculant by aqueous solution polymerization. The separation and purification of graft copolymerization reactants were studied. The results showed that the grafting reaction was simple, and the enzymatic degradation method was used to separate and purify the graft copolymer, which was safe and reliable, and provided a reference for the separation and purification of modified starch polymers.
