ABSTRACT
With the rapid development of China’s economy, the amount of waste is increasing, which makes the implementation of waste classification urgent. Promoting waste classification has become an inevitable requirement.116 network questionnaires were distributed in Wuhan University of Technology. 97.41% of respondents believed waste classification was necessary, and only 2.59% of respondents believed waste classification was cumbersome. 83.62% of the students know a little about classification; About classification standards, only 21% of the students can distinguish the types of garbage. It can be seen that colleges should make efforts to improve the awareness of waste classification of students by strengthening education, and the construction of facilities, and implementing the system of waste classification in colleges, for cultivating good habits of waste classification. What’s more, we should also give full play to the radiation driving role of students’ waste classification, to promote the society to promote the implementation of waste classification.
