ABSTRACT
Limited availability of resources, increasing customer demand, global challenges, competition, and market demand have motivated the manufacturer towards sustainable green manufacturing. Industry 5.0 and its various elemental enabled technologies would provide a significant perspective to advance sustainable manufacturing competitiveness. This chapter aims to introduce the concept of Industry 5.0 with sustainable manufacturing and circular economy. Further, a role model for sustainable manufacturing using 6R principles and its future framework, sustainable value creation in Industry 5.0, and the transition framework of Sustainable Industry 5.0 have been proposed to enrich the performance of sustainable manufacturing in Industry 5.0 are also discussed.
