ABSTRACT
Buckling restrained bracing with definite force and excellent shock absorption effect has always been a research hot spot of scholars around the world. By sorting out and summarizing the research results in the field of buckling restrained bracing in recent years, combined with the working principle of buckling restrained bracing, this paper summarizes the research status of concrete buckling restrained bracing, all-steel buckling restrained bracing and new-type buckling restrained bracing, and analyzes problems existing in various buckling restrained bracing at the present stage. Finally, the future development direction of buckling restrained bracing is prospected according to the current seismic requirements of engineering structures.
