ABSTRACT
Finland has great goals to digitalize the management systems of infrastructure assets and use more data in decision making proposes. The Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency has a program for 2021 – 2023 to define criteria for new age of asset management. The aim of the program is to develop road and track property information, incl. condition and cost information, management so that asset lifecycle planning and related decision making are based on transparency of data sets and systematic procedures. Also, challenges have been the fact, that the infrastructure management tools are not just one system, but many systems for different purposes. The asset management on an infrastructure decision making level, should be able to gather information from different systems in a comparable way.
