ABSTRACT

In recent times, blockchain technologies have become increasingly popular in both scientific and industrial domains because of their potential benefits across various sectors. This is because they can be applied practically to solve several issues that are currently hindering progress in many industrial fields[1]. These challenges include these cured gathering and exchange of large datasets, the establishment of intelligent and automated supply chain operations, and the improvement of transparency throughout the entire supply chain. Using decentralized, shared, permission-based, and secure transaction ledgers, blockchain efficiently addresses these concerns. Utilizing blockchain technology and the capacity to use it in a variety of contexts offers several commercial applications with a better level of security, improved accountability and transparency, and decreased costs. This chapter reviews the many commercial application fields where blockchain technology has been presented.
