ABSTRACT

This abstract presents the concept of continuous patient monitoring using cloud computing, edge computing, and fog computing. The goal is to minimize data traffic and optimize bandwidth usage by filtering and sending only essential data to the cloud server. The edge systems collect data from patient-connected devices, apply filtration, and pass the filtered data to the fog systems. The fog systems further filter the data before sending it to the cloud server. The Internet of Things plays a role in connecting the devices and capturing the data. The abstract emphasizes the importance of reducing traffic on the cloud server and enabling domain experts to efficiently utilize the stored information.
