ABSTRACT

Nowadays, recognizing the bird species is difficult for all of us since there are many species with different sizes, shapes, and colors and we can’t remember all the species. Even experts like ornithologists sometimes need to refer to the books in order to recognize them. But it’s not always possible to refer to the books since it takes a lot of time. Images, audio, and video may all be used to identify birds. However, because audio and video contain a lot of extraneous noise in the surroundings, recognizing them through pictures is more accurate and less difficult. So, there is a need to develop a way of identifying the bird species within an image given by the user. For more convenience to the user, an interface is developed using a streamlit framework and deep learning model which takes the image as input and identifies the species of a bird based on the features of the trained model within a small amount of time.
