ABSTRACT

The higher education institutions worldwide have been adapting digital technology intensively to teaching-learning methods during the last two decades. The way digital platforms have been used for imparting higher education in India has come as an unexpected development. The present study tries to understand the perception of students toward this transformation and their actual use. Data is collected from students of higher education using a structured questionnaire. The responses are analyzed with the application of the structural equation modeling technique. The result reveals the strong influence of external variables like the quality of content, playfulness and enjoyment of perceived benefits, and perceived ease of use during this pandemic. It is further noted that attitude mediates the relationship existing between perceived benefits, perceived ease of use, and adaptation of technology during the ongoing pandemic.
