ABSTRACT

In the last two years, COVID-19 (coronavirus disease-19) has disrupted the higher education system throughout the world, forcing colleges to redesign their operations. This chapter reviews the advantages and challenges of redesigning teaching and learning (T&L) post-COVID-19 and makes some recommendations of practice for the attention of higher education teaching staff and administrators, and scholars. The chapter argues that further investigation is needed to inform policy and preparation relating to effective design, delivery, and assessment of new approaches to higher education post-COVID-19. The chapter predicts that higher education will need to brace for further change by gathering as much data as possible on this subject and adopting appropriate policies and practices.
