ABSTRACT

Advancements in digital tools have brought changes in teaching and learning (T&L) process. Digital learning involves the application of computer in the pedagogy and learning process by providing learning materials in the form of text, audio, video, etc., and is network-based. The present COVID-19 crisis has given impetus to its expansion. Since this transition from classroombased to online mode has been done without much planning during the present pandemic, it is creating stress and affecting the well-being of both teachers and the students. Psychologists can play an important role in not only in managing the stress due to digital learning but can also help to understand digital learning as a psychological phenomenon. So, the psychological factors of an individual and mechanisms that underlies digital learning needs to be explored and can help to make digital learning an effecting learning experience and transform technology centered learning into to human-centered effective learning processes.
