ABSTRACT

Deep learning is a subset of machine learning that has revolutionized the big data industry as it helps to find patterns, extract features and other useful information from complex and adequately huge data. Deep learning finds applications in various fields such as computer vision, big data analytics, bioinformatics, natural language processing, planning and many more. Deep learning employs neural networks on which deep learning architectures are built. These architectures include shallow NNs, RNNs, GNNs, and CNNs. These architectures provide a sophisticated way of handling large complex datasets generated from the medical field and solving the problems of pattern recognition and assisting in timely and accurate diagnosis. From genomics (Identifying enzymes and Gene expression regression etc.) to Bio-image informatics, deep learning architectures have been extensively used to provide solutions to complex associated problems.
