ABSTRACT

A risk management scheme for the construction safety of coastal tunnel projects is presented. The WBS-RBS method was used to identify the risk sources affecting safe project construction. A fault tree analysis was performed in conjunction with the analytic hierarchy process for risk assessment, where objective and subjective analyses were combined to reduce the influence of human factors on the evaluation results. The risk assessment results were used to propose risk disposal measures. The results of this study can provide a reference for the successful realization of construction safety objectives for coastal tunnel projects.
