ABSTRACT

In this study, the integrated storage and management of the basic geological and geographic information in the forms of geological stratigraphic maps, images, tables, and word reports required by deformation monitoring were realized based on the new SuperMap GIS technology. Moreover, a 3D regional geological structural model was established using the data of boreholes and cross-sections. Then, the spatial distribution characteristics of regional geological tectonic units were intuitively and vividly expressed via the 3D visualization technology, realizing its integration and display. This technology serves the whole-process deformation monitoring, solves the deficiencies of traditional technological means, and substantially improves the informatization level during the monitoring of landslide-induced deformation.
