ABSTRACT

A slope in Hengyang Songmu Industrial Park is taken as the research object, the seepage field and the stress field of unsaturated soil slope under rainfall infiltration are analyzed by the finite element analysis software of Geo-studio, and then the stability of unsaturated soil slope is studied. Results show that the surface soil of the slope has an intense response to rainfall, and the pore water pressure is positively correlated with rainfall intensity. The reduction of effective stress in the upper slope has a negative impact on the shear strength of unsaturated soil, and results in failure and instability, which is consistent with the true state of affairs. The calculated position of the dangerous sliding surface caused by rainfall infiltration is close to the field survey result, which can provide some reference for disaster prevention and control of unsaturated soil slope.
