ABSTRACT

The shortage of water resources and the shortage of capacity of the freshwater environment is an important bottleneck restricting the development of modern industry in China. One of the major challenges of industrial development is the treatment and discharge of high-concentration brine. The zero-discharge solution of wastewater is an important way to resolve the contradiction between the modern chemical industry and water resources and the environment. In this paper, the utilization of high-salt wastewater and its treatment technology are discussed. Hopefully, this will provide theoretical guidance for the treatment of high salt wastewater. The highly saline water can eventually be treated by the salt separation process system to obtain a single crystalline salt and condensate that meet industrial standards. The crystalline salt and condensate are used resourcefully and the recovery rate of the highly saline wastewater reaches 95%, achieving near-zero discharge and greatly reducing the burden on the enterprise and the environment.
