ABSTRACT

The definition of ideal cycle thermal efficiency is improved by proposing the concept of ideal heat consumption, the decoupling between the ideal cycle thermal efficiency and the relative internal efficiency of the steam turbine is realized, and the influence of the steam turbine factor in the evaluation of the thermal system is eliminated. This method realizes the correct evaluation of the operating economic status of the thermal system of the double reheat steam turbine. The effects of various factors on the thermal efficiency of the two ideal cycles are calculated through examples, which verify the rationality and accuracy of the method and provide a basis for the next step of the economic diagnosis of the thermal system of the second reheat steam turbine.
