ABSTRACT
Storage tanks are important equipment and facilities in petroleum exploitation, production, storage and transportation, petrochemical production, and other systems. They store a large number and many kinds of chemicals, and most of them are flammable, explosive, toxic, and harmful. Once an accident occurs, it will seriously threaten the safety of people's lives and property. To effectively reduce the operation risk of storage tanks, the members of the research group sorted out the overhaul data of more than 180 storage tanks under the jurisdiction of the company. A storage tank risk evaluation system is established based on the RBI principle. The research provides a guarantee for the safe operation of storage tanks of the company.
