ABSTRACT

In the global energy consumption environment, China's coal consumption accounts for about 70% of the total energy consumption, and it is one of the few countries whose energy consumption is dominated by coal. The total amount of industrial wastewater, waste gas, and solid pollutants discharged by the heavy industry remains high. In particular, the total amount of carbon dioxide emitted by the massive use of coal ranks at the top in the world. Although a large part of the total amount of greenhouse gases was produced in developed countries during the period of rapid industrial development in the past, developed countries have basically completed the process of industrialization, with a high level of clean energy use and less pressure to reduce emissions. However, China is currently in the stage of a developing country, and its economic development largely depends on non-renewable energy. It is still a long way to go to complete the emission reduction task on the basis of maintaining sustainable economic development.
