ABSTRACT

Reducing greenhouse gas emissions has become a consensus reached by countries all over the world. All countries have adopted various measures to promote their own carbon reduction processes. In all fields, carbon emissions brought by energy consumption account for a large proportion. Therefore, the energy transformation indicators can reflect the potential and effectiveness of national energy transformation to a certain extent. This paper provides a comprehensive evaluation index system of the effectiveness of China's energy transformation from the three dimensions of energy supply, energy consumption, and sustainable development; then introduces an analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to evaluate the effectiveness of China's energy transformation; and finally puts forward targeted suggestions.
