ABSTRACT

The current demulsification with good treatment effect and certain development prospects are described: physical demulsification (ultrasonic demulsification, microwave demulsification, electric demulsification, membrane demulsification), biological demulsification, and chemical demulsification. It summarizes the demulsification mechanism, influencing factors, application status, and advantages and disadvantages, makes a brief comparison of various technologies, and looks forward to the future development direction of demulsification.
