ABSTRACT

Since the loss of the rectifier bridge occupies a large proportion of the traditional PFC circuit in medium and high power applications, it seriously affects the efficiency of the whole machine. In this design, the dual boost semi-bridgeless PFC circuit topology is adopted, which saves with the rectifier bridge device, the efficiency of the whole machine can be significantly improved, and at the same time, it has lower common-mode interference. Due to the serious distortion of the input current waveform of the PFC converter under light load conditions, the average current control strategy of inductor current sampling correction and duty cycle feed-forward is used in this article to improve the power factor and then verified by simulation. Finally, a prototype is built to prove that it has the power factor of the PFC converter with duty cycle feed-forward control is greatly improved within the full power level range.
