ABSTRACT

Classification is mechanism of grouping a set on the basis of their characteristics. These characteristics may be explicitly defined in form of class labels namely in supervised methods and can be used implicitly in un-supervised methods. Image classification categorizes images in separate classes. Categorization of images has been significant area of study for researchers, scientists, engineers etc. In our proposed model an evolutionary approach is used for dimensionality reduction. A dataset of Heart failure clinical records is taken from UCI repository for attaining results. A reduced feature set is obtained after implementing hybrid model. Hybrid model comprises of an evolutionary approach and a classification strategy, i.e., neural network. Results achieved are observed and exploratory research is performed.
