ABSTRACT

Since the majority of health problems are caused by unhealthy environments, it's important to maintain a clean environment as well as underground sewage pipelines. Since all domestic and commercial building waste is collected through underground sewers, the water inside of them will always be contaminated, and when it is released back into the environment, it will contaminate the wells and groundwater in your neighborhood. For this, a human worker goes inside these sewage pipelines, putting their lives in danger due to the various hazardous things present. Therefore, the goal of our project is to create a robotic vehicle that can clean the sewage which will replace human scavenging and pipe inspection. This is a very significant issue in the context of the Indian scenario and needs to be handled with the utmost urgency. For this, we’d build a robotic vehicle with an IR camera installed in it to relay real-time images of the sewage to the user-controlled mobile application. The user would then select whether or not to act on it by instructing the robotic arm attached to the vehicle.
