ABSTRACT

In this article a high gain, multiband fractal microstrip antenna has been developed for wireless applications. Here a Sierpinski gasket model is developed on a hexagonal patch. By applying the fractal concepts the radiated patch size is reduced by 43.75% and patch perimeter is increased by 131.8%. This RHSG antenna is analysed by Ansoft HFSS v15 simulation tool. The proposed design presents the Quad-band at 7.49, 11.16, 17.11, 26.16 (GHz) resonant frequencies having Peak Gain (dB) of 7.76, 6.93, 9.56 and 8.73 dB respectively and efficiency of almost 80%. The proposed RHSG fractal antenna have high gain, high efficiency and multiband performance in X/Ku and K band application from 6 to 30 GHz. So the RHSG fractal antenna design is useful or wireless applications like Milletry and RADAR application, Setellite and DTH application 5G/6G wireless applications etc.
