ABSTRACT

It is important to design an accelerated corrosion test to simulate the strong acid corrosion environment. In this work, the corrosion and deterioration laws of ordinary concrete under different pH values and different chloride ion concentrations were compared and investigated. The results show that the acid corrosion effect in the solution increases with the decrease of pH value, and the strength of concrete is more easily damaged, but it is not conducive to the penetration of chloride ions. After the corrosion of pH=2, Cl%=6%, the porosity of concrete increases, but the average pore size is almost unchanged.
