ABSTRACT
Pharmaceutical companies face many challenges in eradicating counterfeit medicines. Due to high requirements and seamless transport, the supply chain plays an especially important role in reducing counterfeit medicines in life science companies. However, they face complex challenges. This chapter proposes a method and guidelines for implementing the IoT with blockchain in pharmaceutical drug supply chain management. Thereby we can reduce the number of counterfeit drugs in the market and save millions of lives.
