Face Detection and Tracking Framework for Video Processing

In this chapter we describe the face detection and tracking framework. Face detection is based on the combined cascade of neural network classifiers. A cascade of weak classifiers is used to localize the face structural features. Tracking is performed using a Kalman filter. The framework was experimentally explored on a test video sequence and adjusted to obtain the high processing speed.
