ABSTRACT

For Toledo, Sanchez & Gutierrez ICT facilitates access to all types of information more easily and comfortably; they favor the autonomy of the students, adapting to their needs and demands; they contribute to the synchronous and asynchronous communication of these students with their classmates and faculty; they help to adapt to the environment; improve cognitive development thanks to the activities that can be done. At a general level, in relation to digital competences, the studies carried out with respect to their training for ICT management suggest that teachers have positive attitudes toward them, but feel insecure for their incorporation into the teaching-learning process, and not so much from a technological point of view, but rather from a didactic and methodological perspective. Teachers must receive conceptual training in relation to ICT within the educational context, how they transform and support the learning environment and social equality.
