ABSTRACT

This chapter establishes a classification of available basic resources organized in bibliographic resources, data sets, and educational materials. British Education Index (BEI) covers areas such as cognitive development, computer-assisted learning, curriculum, educational policy, educational psychology, educational technology, management in education, multicultural education, physical education, science education, special educational needs, and teacher education. CORE is a tool created by the joint information systems committee that allows collecting (and searching) more than 135 million documents of more than 4,600 providers of information: universities, research centers, scientific societies, etc. Open educational resources repositories are tools in which various types of materials are deposited, such as courses, curricular programs, didactic modules, student guides, evaluation tools, monographs, research articles, videos, streaming, podcasts, images, maps, multimedia and interactive materials, simulations, games, software, computer applications, mobile apps, or any other type of educational material and that are shared with open licenses.
