ABSTRACT

The strata created by inequalities are grounded on innumerable factors—such as social, cultural, political, geographical, or due to environmental catastrophe. The dominant group capture the political opportunities and power of coherence, so that marginalized group always remain at the lower strata of political, social, and economic system. Cultural inequalities include disparities in the recognition and standing of the language, religion, customs, norms, and practices of different groups”. The discrimination between male and female begins right after the birth and remains until death. Gender inequality can be seen in families/households in most part of the world. Women always have multiple workloads than men. The inequalities due to race, cast, wealth, politics, power, color, ethnic identity, gender, age, sexual orientations, and physical condition still exist and economic inequality is growing. This book tries to search the answers of why social inequalities are growing.
