ABSTRACT
This chapter seeks to identify and summarize mobile applications (Apps) useful for selected construction professionals, namely project managers or contractors, architects, quantity surveyors, and civil engineers. The research method involved reviewing literature and searching for Apps useful for the construction industry from Play Store and App Store. A total of 202 Apps were identified, summarized, and categorized into four groups of distinct tasks performed by construction professionals. In each of the four categories, 51 Apps found to use by project manager, contractor had 51 Apps, architects had 51 Apps, quantity surveyors had 54 Apps, and civil engineers had 55 Apps. This chapter, therefore, provides a catalogue of Apps that facilitate a range of activities performed by the four construction professionals in completing their duties. It provides a plethora of consolidated information about construction industry Apps. Even though this list may not be exhaustive, the Apps included here are among the most widely utilized Apps the four major professionals in the construction industry need to improve their performance in terms of making work easier whilst enhancing efficiency.
