ABSTRACT

The modern systems of technical vision are widely used in various robotic complexes for industrial, household, and military purposes. The capabilities of technical vision systems are much wider than those of human vision. They are capable of operating not only in the optical range but also in the infrared, ultraviolet, and X-ray wavelength ranges [Nguyen et al. 2019]. The unique capabilities of vision systems in the microwave and radio ranges make it possible not only to detect and identify objects in an optically opaque environment but also to “see” objects behind obstacles in the form of brick and concrete walls, snow screes, sand, etc.
