ABSTRACT

In recent years, the total emission of air pollutants in China has decreased year by year. The air quality of some seriously polluted cities has improved, and the proportion of grade III cities with poor environmental quality has decreased. However, there are still few cities with air quality meeting grade II standards. The main sources of air pollution in China are domestic and production coal, and the main pollutants are particulate matter and SO2. Particulate matter is the main pollutant affecting urban air quality in China, and SO2 pollution is also maintained at a high level. The old problems are far from being solved, and new environmental pollution problems come one after another. With the rapid increase of motor vehicles, the characteristics of air pollution in some cities are changing from bituminous coal type of automobile exhaust type. NOx and CO are increasing, and photochemical smog has appeared in some cities. Therefore, it is suggested to alleviate it through rational layout of industry, less pollutant emission, regional centralized heating and the use of grid micro monitoring system.
