ABSTRACT

In order to evaluate the river inflow objectively and accurately under the current condition and provide more reasonable and reliable runoff data for water resources management, it is necessary to analyze the consistency of runoff series. This paper analyzes the change trend of annual runoff series of Zijingguan and Fuping station in Daqinghe mountain area from 1960 to 2018, and plots the correlation map between precipitation and runoff to determine that the years of sudden change of runoff are 1998 and 1982 respectively. According to the consistency treatment method of annual river runoff series provided in the technical rules for national water resources investigation and evaluation, the annual river runoff series before the sudden change year is corrected to obtain the corrected annual runoff value. The results show that the runoff points before the sudden change point are mostly located on the right of the points after the sudden change, and the annual runoff shows a declining trend under the same precipitation level. Before the consistency correction, the multi-year average values of runoff series at Zijingguan station from 1960 to 1997 and Fuping station from 1960 to 1981 are 224 million and 324 million m³ respectively, they are 148 million and 227 million m³ after correction respectively, the reduction ranges are 34% and 30% respectively. The average annual runoff from 1960 to 2018 is 134 million and 180 million m³ after correction respectively, compared with the measured average annual runoff, they are reduced by 26.7% and 16.6% respectively. The results can be used as references for water resources evaluation and planning in Daqinghe Basin.
